This cozy spot offers stunning views and friendly service that makes every visit enjoyable. I love dining here with my wife, especially on summer evenings when we can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere while savoring delicious meals.

This place has the most wonderful ambiance. The food is good since the new owners took over a couple of years ago. The menu is very limited, but the friendly service and great view make it worth eating there, especially in the summer out on the waterfront deck.

We had dinner at Clifford Lake Inn this evening...The walleye was awesome, as was the vegetable pasta...Our waiter was excellent and the presentation of the Spanish coffee and it's flavor was amazing....Also the Kentucky Derby pie was delicious...We'd recommend it highly...

We visited last Sunday for Mother's Day. They were good about getting us in on that day and a good portion of the food was very, very good. They were running out of desserts and had some very interesting (although maybe not necessarily appetizing) desserts to replace the standard ones, but the chicken, potatoes were good and those mushrooms are AWESOME! It seemed sort of chaotic but everyone was pleasant and the day and location were beautiful!

We took the entire family here for Easter Dinner today....what a HUGE disappointment this was. The service was terrible and it was a buffet!!! The food was scarce and not replenished, the worst part is they ran out of meat! We arrived at 1pm, so it wasn't as if we were at the end of the service. After waiting 15+ minutes for them to bring out more meat it finally arrived only to be served stone cold. We attempted to move on for dessert, but guess what??? The desert table was nearly empty with not even enough for all in our group to have something. When I asked to see the owner, she hid in the back and made the poor waitress deal with our complaint. Way to run a service business! We will never go back and I am going to make it my mission to inform everyone I know in this community how terrible an experience we had!

First of all, my wife and I are NOT picky eaters or customers - we have to be highly disappointed in order to speak up about it. Unfortunately, I have to give a very poor review of this restaurant. My wife and I dined there for the first time this evening. The service was very slow and the food was terrible. It tasted like it had been cooked the day before and was warmed up in a microwave. How do you screw up mashed potatoes? We will not be returning.

Went to Clifford Lake Inn for New Years Eve. Our waitress was incredibly slow. We ordered off from their special menu for the night and waited over an hour for our food. When our food did come my crab legs were not cooked and smelled of rotten seaweed. The owner came out and told me that I was incorrect, there was no way their food wasn't right. I was credited $10 on a $25 bill for food that I could not eat. Will never go there again!!!!
