What a very welcome site to see this business back in business and with fantastic food today. 7-5-2024
It was a surprise of surprises today when we drove by the Old Chicken Coup building and saw that it was open and under a new name the Chicken Shack. That was the first surprise, second was how nice the facility has been remodeled and refurbished. Third was the fish basket. It was every bit as good as what the old business served and maybe better. Forth is the staff, who made sure everything was good.
AND ABOVE ALL, KNOWING WE HAVE A GREAT FISH & CHIPS PLACE TO GO TO.
This truly made our day as we have been ever saddened by the closing of the old business which was a weekly visit to.
Hats off to the new owner and her staff, job well done THANK YOU

Prices are way to high,I used to eat here about 1 time a week. I'm on SS i have to cut down to once a month.

Best chicken in the tri-state area. The owner and staff are incredible. I used to eat here once a week. I consider myself a fried chicken connoisseur, and this is the best chicken I've ever had. Every. Damn. Time.
I have no complaints.
As for the review on the price increases. That is inflation, and a fact of life! All prices are rising, not just yard bird. I'm positive the owner isn't trying to grift us for a new Maserati.

I normally go here about 6 times a month. I get the same thing everytime. Senior fish dinner with an extra side of mashed potatoes and extra side of cole slaw. In was just here on friday 6/18 it cost me $13.36 plus .50 for using my debit card. (so I had already decided without cash on me I would not go back here ) then
I came back today 6/22 and I is now $15.79 for the same order. You just lost my business. when the price goes up over $2.00 in just a few days with no waring it is going to be going up that much I am not coming back. we will watch you go out of business instead. You don't have a great turn out to begin with and now you just lost one of your best customers.
