My partner and I decided to head to Wood Fire for dinner on Valentine's Day since The Rock was closed. We hadn't been there in over 2 years due to past experiences, but we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and excellent service we received as soon as we walked in the door. The attentive staff, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere made our Valentine's Day dinner truly special.

A very nice restaurant. Tucked in a the small town of Dowagiac, we didn't expect world-class dining. With just one visit we can only hope their food is also consistent---the Cajun Pasta was amazing.

Consistently the strongest restaurant in the region. The food is creative and interesting. We take the time to savor our food and therefore the evening. We want this place to flourish. It is a first rate dining experience.

We had heard of this place and took too long to try it. The atmosphere is like art. The smells of burining wood and garlic. We truly enjoyed the service, the charm, and our dinners cooked in the wood burning oven. The best restaurant in the region.
