The service at this cozy diner is both prompt and welcoming, creating a pleasant small-town vibe that enhances the dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the Little Piggy dish, where the pancakes and eggs were expertly cooked and served piping hot. While some menu items may not be homemade, the overall quality of the food and the friendly service make it a worthwhile dining destination.

Today I brought my wife and daughter here for breakfast. Based on my prior experiences, I thought this would be a great place. Its been about 5 years since my last stop and i thought it be a good morning!! BUT I WAS SURELY MISTAKEN!! Our Breakfast/lunch started off like most places. Drinks, appetizers and get your food order in. My wife ordered mozzarella sticks, all good so far. The server came back asked for our primary order. My wife ordered chicken salad sandwich and fries along with my daughters Mac and cheese. A side of chilli and a side of cheese.(To make her own chilli and cheese fries herself) 🤦"â™‚ï¸ Just incase the nacho cheese is generic tasting,/or chilli is straight out a can no flavor) I then proceeded to order a French dip with aju sauce, fries. Also a cup of chilli.(To eat)(Different then dog chilli) The server asked would I like my chilli out before my meal? I accepted that offer. Once she brought my chilli 15mins after the order was placed. My chilli was almost spoon cold.. I Calmly sat there irritated waiting for my server to check on how it was going..... (WRONG) 15 more minutes go by she brings our main meals. My wife nicely tells her that my chilli is cold has been cold from the beginning to just heat it up.... 20mins go by she brings out a oversized bowl of chilli to compensate for it not ORIGINALLY BEING A WARM CUP OF CHILLI 😱 Granted I never even touched this soup besides to find out it was cold. My French dip (Roast beef) was fatty grizzly cheap cut meat for 16.99 a plate. My wife was disgusted with her Gordon's food service chicken salad sandwich for 14.99 a plate. Fries were cold food was just overall absolutely garbage PLACE! How this place is so highly rated is appalling TO US 🤮🤮🤮. ONCE we got our bill she noticed the chilli was still on there... When the server came to collect the cash for the bill. My wife asked if it could be taken of seeing how it WAS #1COLD from the beginning ( #2 i never ate i because her SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE in the amount of time we were there.... She then proceeded to argue with my wife about paying for it. BECAUSE SHE FIXED IT 😆🤣 No hun it was COLD CHILLI I NEVER ATE!!! WHAT THE HELL??!?!! TO argue with a customer to pay for something because your food is cold is just mind blowing to me.. The sad part about all this.. I recommend to my wife to go here 😄I Know alot of people in berrien county and I'll never EVER RECOMMEND This place EVER AGAIN!! Especially for 64$$$ 💩 Food💯 ✌

Used to be really good, has gone down over the last few years. Food is now greasy and over cooked. They have lost the home town appeal.
Used to walk around town in mornings walking dog and see people who would stop me to say "where can we get a good breakfast", was always proud to say Thornton`s sorry to say would not recommend again.
