I have been a regular at Jays Lounge for quite some time, and the food consistently delivers. The $1 Busch Lights are a steal, especially during Notre Dame games when they hand out jello shots. The atmosphere is always lively, particularly during game nights.

Dirty. Table was sticky, had to wash hands after touching the dirty menu with wing sauce all over it. 2 menus were given to 5 of us. Waitress even said she wouldn't eat anything there. Out of half the stuff we tried ordering. Beer had orange residue on the can. Fruit flies everywhere. Bad service. Men's bathroom door slamming shut every minute. Won't go back.

Ordered a rueben and the bread was light rye not dark and it was very lightly toasted not grilled!! Asked the waitress who had no clue..husband had the pork belly Cuban sandwich...pork belly not!! Was just bacon...no coleslaw or cottage cheese which was a side choice...another clueless answer from waitress...very disappointing place was very dirty as well...

I go to Jay's for wings 2-3 times a month. Food is great, prices even better. The wait staff and bartenders (female) do a great job!

After a patron was hit, having 4 teeth knocked out, I asked for ice to help the swelling until the paramedics arrived. As a nurse, I know how to help individuals in distress. However, the female bartender with long, dark hair refused to give me and a paramedic at the bar any ice saying "we have it taken care of." They sure know how to fill cups full of ice when customers pay for "drinks," but won't help when medically necessary. A friend was also charged $7 OVER the drink price for a beer. Great way for them to make money. I wonder how many others were over-charged. Our group of 12 won't be back. Unfortunately for them, we were almost half the crowd all night.
