Just had a delicious lunch at Great Wall and everything was so tasty - from the crab ragoons to the hot and sour soup. The sesame chicken was a hit, and my son loved the lemon chicken. The service was great, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It's definitely a solid spot for Chinese cuisine in Hillsdale.

I ordered and picked up food after a long day at work, and will never do that again. The female working the cash register was very rude, yelling at everyone who came to the counter. There was one table dining in so it isn't like she was overly busy. The food was ok.

Service is always speedy and food for the area is incredibly tasty. Best crab rangoons and plum sauce in the area and can't go wrong with the cashew chicken. Great prices, great portions, easy location.

I recently moved to Jackson, have had all the Chinese food that Jackson has to offer including a national chain that recently open here. And nothing compares to Great Wall, I grew up in Hillsdale, I been to king buffet that's no longer open . And nothing compares to great wall , there take is the best, there buffet is ok . But there take out is hot fresh and out of this world good. I miss eating at Great Wall now that I live in Jackson. But whenever I am in town this one of my first stops. Ran by the same family since the 70s and there are the best, my sister in law whom lives Alabama recently moved there from Italy has even said nothing compares to great wall Chinese restaurant. If want experience the best either order from the kitchen or do take out, don't do the. Buffet.

I had there buffet and it was as bad as I have ever eaten the food was dry the flavor was poor. I was afraid to eat some things. I disagree with the previous post. I think the old buffet in Jonesville was way better than the Great Wall in Hillsdale. As for the dí©cor yes it is tacky but what bothers me is how insanely dirty this place looks inside. The place is just nasty.

I've lived here my whole life but I've also had a lot of Chinese food from the area and this is probably your best bet. There is a King Buffet in Jonesville and it has the best peanut chicken I have ever had. But other than that, the great wall has King Buffet beat in freshness, speed and service. They have a great lunch buffet for only 5 bucks (with no drink) and they're prices are very reasonable. The decor is like any other small town Chinese place, wonderful in some places and terribly tacky than other. So, all things considered, this place is just okay. There is no dish they do really well but all dishes are about the same par. If you want Chinese, check it out!
