The food and service were fantastic, no complaints at all. I've been twice in less than a week since moving to the area and might just end up becoming regulars. The taco special I had today was really good, and the seafood chowder I got to go was off the hook delicious! The atmosphere is great with a nice fireplace and big windows for a lovely view, and our waitress Edra was fantastic. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, and we weren't rushed out after finishing. It's a wonderful spot to eat with delicious food and friendly servers.

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Went there with son for 1st time and was moderately busy. I knew I was in for trouble when it took nearly 15 minutes just for my 1st drink to arrive. After ordering could not get waitresses attention multiple times unless I followed her at full speed shouting at her down hallway. Onion rings for appetizer were overdone and nearly burnt and sent back. From then on I could tell they had a "tude". Ordered ribeye steak rare which was supposed to be their best and it arrived well over an hour later and was tough & grissly, which was no surprise being only 1/4 inch thick. To order rare, the fat doesn't even get a chance to emulsify at that thickness and is like an uncooked steak. I've had some bad steaks before, but this wasn't even edible. I sent back & waitress never even asked me if I wanted something else. She just disappeared. Finally went to manager and complained about not being asked and her reply was "Well we didn't, because it appears nothing will satisfy.you". I was absolutely livid. Then to add insult to injury they overcharged me for 2 drinks and the asparagus which was only thing edible they couldn't screw up. Left hungry, and a bad headache from not eating after having drinks and mad as hell. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Waited minutes for food and it was understaffed. The server was rude and didn't clear table. The tables are small to began with and empty plates don't help. This place has really gone down hill. I won't be back.

Just OK..the menu is really old and tired, its been the same for years..I was there last month and I was the only person in the restaurant and they messed up my order. I had boycotted them for a couple years because everytime I asked to substitute a side salad for another side, they charge me full price for salad instead of difference between the side I wanted substituted and the salad. I got in an argument with the waitress...anyhow we've been going back lately because there aren't a lot of options in the area.....

OMG, this place is to die for! I went there yesterday with my friend.. Huge servings, decent prices, and the food is cooked to perfection! I've never had food this good!
I live an hour away from it, but I will drive there to just eat. The homeade bread loaf is to die for! yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I've been to Northern Trails 15-20 times since I moved up here. It's mine and my husbands favorite restaurant ever! Food is always excellent, service is always good and atmosphere is awesome!! As a matter of fact we are going there this afternoon for their delicious ribs.

Well I came in with my mom and son and our food was excellent.. I filled out a application for waitressing, and the hiring waitress wasn't there but they said that they have alot of girls come and go.. My uncle Mike told me to go there cause he knows the owner Don and they go golfing and hangout, and he said to give it a try.. I really would like to waitress there, because of the nice people and good environment. i have been waitressing for about 8 yrs now and love it, so i will continue to call so please keep me in mind... Oh my uncle Mike comes there alot.His name is Mike Cole.. Please let Don know that he told me to check it out.
