Been goin* there for over 40 years now, mostly in summer but winter too. Th3 cozy, warm atmosphere is as welcoming as the great owners, tish and Eric and the whole staff who really and truly try to serve and be a support in community up here.
We love Sunday night prime rib which never disappoints. Large, well seasoned and hot! I love garlic mashed potatoes. I do miss salad bar and ribs an$ some little things like chives and bacon on baked potatoes but when compared to prime rib at Grand Rapids places like chop house, I'd rather be thrilled with everything at old channel. Keep up the struggle it is in today's world you guys. You definitely serve quality and service. Wink to terry, my favorite server

We ordered take out last night and every bit of it was excellent! Smelt, wedge salad, shrimp scampi, and a most delicious burger were a welcome dinner for us in these strange times. Trish was wonderful, welcoming, and extremely supportive and reassuring. This little place is a local gem that we need to keep going!
