The food here is consistently satisfying, especially the flavorful Chicken Pad Thai and zesty sweet and sour dishes. The portions are generous, prices fair, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

I give Chinatown 4 stars because their food and value is excellent. I have not found them to be either friendly or rude; strictly businesslike. I have been eating here for many years and it is one of the few Chinese restaurants I will order or eat from.

I've been a customer at Chinatown of Zeeland since they opened in (not sure but maybe) 2003? 2004? So I think if they had bad service & bad food, they would have closed a LONG TIME AGO. I've always received great friendly service. They serve delicious food! I don't know who these other people are that have a problem with this restaurant, or maybe they have an axe to grind - maybe they are the competition.
They have ALWAYS been friendly. They have ALWAYS prepared delicious food - and always the way I've requested. They have NEVER been rude or nasty. I've never witnessed anyone being yelled at or anyone ever having to send their food back.
And by the way, just some advice from someone who worked for years in a restaurant, you really shouldn't be waiting until 30 or less minutes to closing time to come in & order food at ANY restaurant. It's rude, inconsiderate and not very smart.

Very mediocre food and completely terrible service. I have had several incidents with them. The worst was when they put cashews in my girlfriend's (who is deathly allergic to cashews) Kung pow chicken after being asked to make it with peanuts only. So I brought the dish, that was literally covered in cashews, back and asked them to remake it with NO CASHEWS. I explained to the girl behind the counter that my GF was very allergic and could die from contact with just one cashew. They remade the dish with mo apologies and sent me on my merry way. 45 minutes later we were at the ER getting shots to stop my GF's airway from completely restricting. Thanx for almost killing girlfriend Chinatown!

I went for lunch and I paid with a credit card, so by mistake I took the receipt that I should sign and give it to them so when we realize I start looking in my purse for it, she got very frustrated and almost yelling at me say to sign the one that was my copy since we couldn't find the other one, no patience with customer, they are always in rush like if they are very busy, they will go out of business soon if they don't start to be nice with people. =(

Don’t show up 30 minutes before closing they will throw your meal at you and if you’re not finished they give you to go containers and kick you out!! Not good customer service and the food is only so, so. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
