The owner/employees were very nice and the food great. the room however was terrible. It was described to me as simple and clean... just what I was looking for. I found however that the room was simple and dirty. It smelled very musty. the carpet was filthy. The small couch was full of long dog hair. I will go back for food but not to stay.

Best bang for the buck on the island. Huge portions
great food and good location. Dont order the three pancakes unless you are starved. they are mega-sized

On our honeymoon last August, I decided to follow my wife's memories of DI and stop here. Restaurants on the island are widely spaced and few, to boot. Their specialty is pancakes, and they turned out to be worth the wait. We waddled out after a few conversations with the locals. Are they open in the winter?
