The hotel restaurant recently opened a new bar that impressed me with its ambiance. I had a delicious French Onion soup with a rich, buttery flavor that was enhanced by the cheese topping, though the croutons were a bit too hard. The fish sandwich, made with hand-breaded local catch, was served with tasty slaw, homemade tartar sauce, and crispy fries; I opted for onion rings, which were a great choice. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, including local Michigan beers, and the servers are always friendly and helpful with recommendations. While the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, I'm looking forward to returning and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
