Maybe it was the type of food we ordered.... But the whitefish tasted fishy and looked like pork rinds, and the shrimp were small and greasy. Our waitress gave us our water 15 minutes after we asked for it. It was 2pm and they weren't even busy. She took 15 minutes more to talk to her co workers at the bar before she came to our table to take our order. We had our menus on the table and not in our hands shortly afer she brought our water. I dont recall her leaving us her name. But she was kinda short and skinny. She didn't even come to the table to give us our bill. We had to go up to the bar and ask for it. Maybe had we ordered some booze, and steaks, she would have paid more attention to us. Maybe the restaurant is more known for their steaks. To me a really good restaurant...specializes in everything tasting good. I heard a lot of hype about that place. I only hope that everyone elses experiences turn out betterthan ours.

Website says they opened at 11 and we drive three hours to eat there and they're closed when we get there. That's nice. Someone needs to update their website.

Terrible atmosphere. Good food. We went in for a quick dinner at 5:15; left there 7:05. Bad acoustics; everyone shouting to hear each other. The owners need to come in n dine with their families on a Friday night and experience this noisey horror.

Both times we have been there we waited at least a half of an hour to get waited on. This last time I had to go to the bar to ask if we had a waitress because there were 5 wait staff standing in the back talking to each other. Finally placed our order and the food was cold. Very disappointed.

Was served wrong fish. I got apologies but no one asked if they could make it right. Very unprofessional atmosphere. One young girl in particular keep yelling at other employees. Not a satisfactory experience.

we were there over Christmas 2018. Had the filet and it was worth every penny.We would have gone back for another nights dining but we left town early next day because of a storm that was coming and we had 500miles to get home.
We will go back for sure!!! Great service also...

Horriable, got food poisoning and endup up in the er at Marquette hospital the next day. Horrible chicken and lime dish. No tp in the ladies room. Wait staff made a big mess at the next table and never came back to clean it up. All the salad and dessert dishes had some sort of water in them. Nasty and buggy and never ever again. Lost 5 days of vacation to being sick! Will let the health department know too.

Terrible food and atmosphere. We were served old chicken, tough and chewy whitefish, and the salad bar is a joke, but not really funny at 7.99 no break for ordering with a meal either. service was ok, but when they serve the food that we got, they show their lack of caring and experience. The food looked 2 days old at least.

We were staying in Munising, Michigan and went to eat at the Foggy Restaurant in Christmas, Michigan based on online comments that it was a good place to eat. Upon entering the restaurant we were told to sit at a table on the other side of the room and were given no menus. After a few minutes we went up to the hostess to get them ourselves. My wife ordered a hamburger and I ordered the half baked chicken which came with the soup/salad bar. The salad bar was pathetically sparse with the dressing served in foil packets. My chicken was tough and stringy with no flavor. The mixed vegetables were mushy and tasted like they had been cook days earlier. My wife's haburger was greasy and gritty and served on a favorless bun.
Our waiter left on an errand half way through our meal and the waitress who I had to ask for the bill was no where to be found when I attempted to pay. I left the money on the table and left probably the worse dining experience I have ever had.
To sum up it was horrible service, terrible food, and a tacky atmosphere. Save your money. You could do better at the Subway in Munising.

The food is always very good. we stop about once a year, we live down state. The only thing wrong with the place that I have seen, happened in the last couple years. They had a bartender karen there, and she is nolonger (which is disappointing)..she knew how to treat customers very well. Trevor was on the last couple of times, very unimpressive young man.

Large group of 7 went for dinner in late July 09. Service was a bit slow but we were in no hurry. All of the dinners were great. We will definitely make Foggy's part of our annual UP trip.
