Great bar food right by the river with a cool, laid-back vibe that takes you back to those old motorcycle club hippie days. The North Point Cooler was a hit for me this time, along with the delicious North Beach Tacos.

Staff was incredibly Rude and Hostile for political reasons!!!
Stopped in for two beers, was sitting there (not wearing any political garb) and talking (politely) to a girl who told me she was was dating the cook, she felt the need to tell me her mother is a Republican and her Dad is a Democrat, she then went on (completely unsolicited) to tell me how much she "hated Trump", when she had finished her diatribe I suggested (respectfully and calmly) " that maybe she was getting her info from the wrong source", she said we would have to "agree to disagree"! The conversation went quiet for a minute, she then jumped up and walked away, next thing you know the boyfriend cook is standing behind me telling me I have to leave! When I asked why, the cook said his girlfriend was "crying"! 🙄 I guess he came out to show her how tough he (wasn't) by picking on a 62 year old man! I told him I'm not leaving for such a BS reason! More staff came out and one of them got physical with me and tried to take my beer away! Wasn't long and some of the young patrons were joining in! If you have seen the news lately you know what kind of (mob scene) I was dealing with at this point! These kids seriously mistook me for some old wimp who would take this crap from them! The manager was also present and failed to inject any rational guidance to his out of control employees! I eventually left (on my own terms) to chorus of further harassment and name calling!
After I posted a review of the establishment, a bartender posted her own completely fabricated version and even accused me of damaging some of the boats near there, she quickly deleted it when many came to my defense in the comments section!
It is so sad that these people are so unhappy, angry, and willing to attack at a moments notice, the fact that the manager watched the whole thing and did nothing is disturbing!
I was expected to listen to her bash our president but the very second I said something in his defense I was ganged up on by the whole staff!
