The gold nugget is a familiar spot we visit regularly in Ellsworth for its classic bar food menu with favorites like pizza and burgers, complemented by a good selection of beers and a full bar. The accommodating wait staff caters well to both large groups and small, and the prices are reasonable. It's our go-to neighborhood bar and grill where we enjoy special themed nights like Burger and a beer, Pizza and a beer, and Taco night, along with the popular Friday night fish fry with salad bar.
