We have consistently received quality Mexican food having eaten there or ordered out many many times.

San Marcos used to be my favorite restaurant but in the past year the service and quality of food has really diminished. It feels like the entire heart is gone from the business and there are just moody servers who care more about their online lives on their cell phones then they do about taking care of their customers. The final straw the other day was getting food served on cold plates, the portions 1/5th of what they used to be. The food quality just wasn't there. And the waiter thought it was a good idea to try to memorize my simple order. Of course he got it wrong. Really takes the enjoyment out of your meal when all these mistakes and unfortunately preventable mistakes all happen. Unfortunate because it's clearly not a tightly managed ship anymore as it once was. It saddens me because it really used to be worth the drive from Caledonia, but now I fear it's destined for that special spot in hell where all the neglected restaurants end up. Needless to say, I would recommend you find a better eating destination. Until San Marcos picks up their game again from the top down it will be a destination to avoid and watch fold up.
