I'm a frequent customer of Val's Pizza and have not had a bad experience. Excellent food and reasonably priced. I send friends there often and have always gotten rave reviews.

I wrote an excellent review along time ago based on what my thoughts, my churches thoughts, and my neighbors thought about their service and food. I heard a few bad comments about them, but Inever gave them any mind. HOWEVER...read the sceniro from yesterday to today...
As normal, I ordered 2 taco supreme dinners...I asked for all the cold on the side...as normal...(Lettuce, tomato, etc...)...Never was a problem.....I also had a friend order a burrito supreme. The menu says it comes with lettuce, tomato, black olives, and of course CHEESE! I didn't order those on the side. What I received was 6 taco's both filled with all the right things...but the tomato and lettuce was supposed to be on the side. NOT THIS TIME! My friends burrito supreme?....No cheese...no lettuce...no black olives..no ANYTHING......just a shell with what ever in it.
So I was nice and called and asked for the owner. The gut answering said he was owner. I was nice and just told him what I ordered the day before and what I received. He told me how he made the order himself and went directly to how the containers cost him money. Me, being a chef and restaurant manager myself told him I know and I would pay for them. All I wanted was for my order to be corrected. Even Minus the 3 taco's I ate the night before. The owner is a money hungry sob that don't care about the quality of his food or the services he gives.
Even after the owner saying he made the burrito himself etc....and told me how he put the cheese, tomato, lettuce, etc....on it...and tried to explain why he wouldn't put that part of my order on the side....I returned ALL the food minus 3 taco's...and the bare burrito with no cheese etc....
He didn't say a word. Just gave me back less than I paid for the food the day before and walked away.
SO DO NOT order from this place. The owner is money hungry and don't care about customer service or the quality of the food when asked!.

from them and it's their sauce you use. HMMM!

We started ordering from Vals about 2 months ago. We are all pretty picky when it comes to food and delivery being 2 of us are chefs and others food critics. We try new places on occasion just for a change of menu and give others a chance.
Since we tried Vals pizza...we have not ordered anywhere else yet because they have a variety of menu items we can choose from and we order depending on our preferred tastes that day. Every time we order the food is fresh, great tasting, and delivered quickly.
I think, (as well as all the others on my block), that Vals might be the best restaurant in Owosso to order take out/delivery. And we have no family or friend ties to them. They are just that good!. Even their pizza has 2x the cheese as our other favorite pizza place.
