The cozy atmosphere and friendly service at Freddie's made me feel right at home, like I was back in the mom-and-pop diners of my youth. The country fried steak was a delightful surprise, surpassing even the one I had in Texas, and the hashbrowns with green peppers, onions, and cheese were a tasty complement to the light and fluffy pancakes. My visit to Freddie's was a delicious journey down memory lane, reminding me of the comforting flavors of home-cooked meals and the warmth of small-town hospitality.

They need to learn how to make an omlet. They shouldn't be juicy all over the plate. Maybe you should cook the veggies and meat before adding.

I am giving 5 stars only because of one of your wonderful waitresses named Becky just love her. Such a great and hard worker so friendly and kind. Hope you appreciate her!!

Have been going to this place for over two years . I try not to any more as the food has gone down hill and Friday night fish and shrimp is a blah. The fish is full of grease and soggy and the shrimp has been cold to the most part. People in town are saying same thing . Might need to get a new cook or slow down and cook good food

Just spent $30.00 for 8pc chicken instant mashed potatoes and canned gravy wow what a price gouging disappointment wont be ordering from them for a long time if it wasnt for the chicken being halfway good I'd take it back and ask for my money back

We are new to the area and were looking for a family restaurant, not a bar/restaurant environment and we hit the jackpot with Freddie's!! A quiet, family friendly place with wonderful food, good prices and clean! Our server was quick and kind.
Not to mention, our kids were raving about the food as well. SUPER HAPPY with everything. Can't wait to go back.

Over the past several years I have taken my family to Freddie's Restaurant in Mora, MN. For the most part the food and service has been very good. Freddie's like a lot of their competitors serves up "All You Can Eat Specials", only on certain days of the week. My wife and I went there for dinner on Tuesday,02/09/2010. This is normally the "All You Can Eat Beef Ribs" night. Although this has always been a yummy selection. We were in the mood for the "All You Can Eat Fantail Shrimp", normally offered on Fridays only. I asked our waitress if we could order the "All You Can Eat Fantail Shrimp" instead of the ribs. The waitress said she would ask the chef if he would do this. She returned to our table a few moments later to tell us we could have the "All You Can Eat Shrimp". A short while later we were served our first plate of shrimp. Having not eaten anything all day I finished off my plate in short order. I motioned our waitress over to our table to ask for more. She returned a few minutes later, empty handed to advise us that this was a single serving only and If we wanted more we could order it "a la cart" for $8.00 more. I would have met them half way for their mistake. A fair deal would have been the difference between the All You Can Eat price and the single serving price, about $2.00. It's a shame that the "All you Can Eat Shrimp/Fish Specials" are only served on Fridays,catering to mostly certain religious organizations. I happen to work on Fridays during the hours when these specials are offered. Unless I happen to be on vacation, no special for my family! I would like to suggest Freddie's make this special available on two nights a week, let's say possibly on Mondays when the restaurant business is slow anyway. This way my family and I could enjoy the Shrimp/Fish specials with out being subjected to other peoples religiosity's!
