Whenever I'm in Buffalo, I have to visit this Chinese restaurant that reminds me of the food from my childhood, featuring a savory, thick brown sauce. The chow mein and kung pao chicken are outstanding, making it my go-to choice for takeout, even though the interior could use some ambiance.

Whenever I visit Buffalo, I make sure to stop by this Chinese eatery that serves up the flavors of my childhood - rich, savory sauces that hit the spot. The cozy ambiance might not be much to look at, but the chow mein and kung pao chicken are worth every bite for a satisfying meal experience.

First time here in 15 years. Only takeout tonight,
but very pleased with cleanliness and neatness that you could see from the door. Ordered shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken, vegetables and egg rolls. The fried rice was just a bit dry, but flavorful, and the shrimp was fresh and cooked very well. I asked them to go light on the sauce for the vegetables, and they did, and the veges were cooked just tender crisp. My son said the sesame chicken was very well spiced. The egg rolls were very good.

Portions were not huge, and price seemed a little high, but worth it. If it was an option, I'd bump my rating to 4.25 or so. Will definitely go back!

We have been coming here for many years. Always excellent, friendly service. Love the chow mein. Wish the indoor dining would come back.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is made to order, the portions are huge and the kids love it.

The food at House of Lo is wonderful. The staff is friendly and quick. Chi and Lee make you feel like you are part of their family when you eat at their restaurant!
