The diner I discovered recently is a hidden treasure in Princeton. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a meal with friends or family. I particularly enjoyed the veggie skillet with cheddar cheese over crispy hash browns - a delicious combo! Despite the lack of social distancing, we were seated promptly, served by a great waitress, and enjoyed our meal in no time.

We went to Merlins cuz we always like their food. OMG, it was that bad I had to write a . We got there about 1:30 pm the place was busy but not a full house. We looked at the menu I noticed that the choice of meat comes with the French toast I have had it several times not one waitress offered me a choice of meat prior to visits. so we paid full price and never got all of the food.with our meal {no meat }. I mentioned why I was never told of course she had no clue. so we went ahead and ordered our usual. French toast with Bacon I got my meat this time my husband ordered his usual trucker special with ham also an extra side of 2 eggs with toast. I think they had to go get the pig OMG it took 45 minutes for our order to get to us. I don't care how busy you are u don't make the customers wait 45 minutes. we could see in the kitchen area everyone who worked there was just standing around. our meal finally came my husband's ham was burned and my bacon was rolled up over crispy bacon. my french toast was very dry sides were hard and dried out even the white toast was dried out. I was so damn mad they took off $3.00 I'm like $3.00 I should have thrown their food back at them and left. it was horrible. the waitress tried to blame it on them being busy I use to cook and waitress that is not a good reason for your food to come to you as we received it. As a waitress, I would have never served that food to the customers. I WORKED AT TRUCK STOPS THEY GET VERY VERY BUSY AND I NEVER SERVED OR COOKED A MEAL LIKE THIS. MERLINS IT WAS HORRIBLE I DON'T KNOW IF WE WILL EVER GO BACK. U CAN GO TO FRONTIER STEAK HOUSE AND GET A DAMN GOOD STEAK FOR WHAT WE PAID AT MERLINS

Best Reuben sandwich I have had in years, maybe ever! Great service, friendly and very fast. We stopped for a quick bite on our way to camping and now we have a new favorite place to eat. Wish it had longer hours. Closes at 3pm. I left my cell phone on the table when I left and they were practically walking out to my car when I turned around and drove back to get it. Very nice and kind people! Wish there were more places like this! Will definitely go back!
