I arrived a few minutes before opening and was welcomed in by a friendly server. The dí©cor had a Victorian style that may not be to everyone's taste, but the service, food, and overall experience were excellent. The chef took the time to chat with us, and the homemade lunches and baked goods were delicious.

Been coming here for years from Saint Paul. Well worth the drive. Big menu, very hard to choose. So MANY wonderful dishes! Beautiful and friendly atmosphere. Large collection of teas to choose from. If you didn't know it you feel like your in a real British tea room. Don't forget scones with clotted cream and jam!

High Tea was amazing! Each course was better than the last. Delicious teas, tasty sandwiches, scrumptious desserts. Impeccable service without being snooty. Highly recommend supporting this small business.

I've enjoyed the Wisteria several times in the past year, meeting friends for lunch.
The salads, breads, sandwiches and tea are all amazing, and so beautifully presented.
The staff is friendly as well as efficient. We consider this Tea House quite a find!

Ordered an Chicken Caesar Salad and it was coated with so much dressing that I couldn't eat it. There were a few pieces of shredded chicken that I literally had to look for as I did for the croutons. For almost $12, I would have expected chunks of chicken, dressing on the side and warm, fresh homemade rolls instead of dry purchased biscuits that you could purchase at Walmart. I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone.

The Wisteria Twig is without a doubt one of the best places around! I live 350 miles away, and twice a year I treat myself to a trip to Red Wing, Minnesota to antique and eat at this fine establishment!
The food is always fresh and expertly prepared. They have a tasty selection of hot teas and other beverages to compliment your food. My favorites are the chicken salad and the Reuben sandwiches. And the desserts are the highlight! (I tend to order one dessert and order a second to enjoy on my trip back home!)
The wait staff is polite and efficient. They know the menu and make excellent suggestions. And then there is the owner. She truly cares about her customers and your dinning experience. Every time I have dined there, she has come out and talked to each table, asking how their experience was. You don't find that kind of concern at other cookies cutter fast food restaurants!
My only complaint is that they don't have a location closer to me!
Try Wisteria Twig for a one of a kind dinning experience!
