Amazing!

I recently dined at Cravin' Catfish. My previous visit was perhaps 4 years ago.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There was a vast choice of food on the buffet. The items I chose were very good and tasty.
Their central offering, for which the restuarant is named. was the worst item I chose.
It had the taste and texture one would expect from a service station deli bar - food that had been made possibly hours before.
The taste was bland, at best.. The texture was as described in the previous paragraph, service station stale. Even the color was unappetizing - an unattractive dull grey, rather than the fresh enticing golden color one would expect.
Pricewise, it is a bargain, if you are a hearty eater with a good appetite.
Had the fish been matched the quality of the many other items available, I would have given Cravin' Catfish an excellent rating...but it was a big disappointment.

OMG, my whole family loves this place! So many options to choose from, even our picky children love it!

Our first time to go was last week (10/22/21). Stopped by again next day on way home and will go back more. The food was great. Best fish I have ever ate. Fries were good. Cobbler and banana pudding was home made and great. A little over an hours drive for us but well worth it.

About 15-20 classmates and friends went to dinner there with a visiting friend from out of town. We all paid at as we entered, when we were seated one of the ladies realized that she didn't have her receipt. The waitress was taking drink orders and told her that she couldn't order not even water unless she had a receipt. The lady went back to the register and the lady at the register nearest the dining room since that's where she paid and told her what happened. She said "Yes, I remember you but if you want to eat you have to pay again . Never once did she offer to call the Manager/Owner to give her a handwritten receipt, she had her to pay again. She paid for 2 meals because she didn't have a receipt for water/dinner and the lady new that she had paid. never again will we set foot in the place and if suggest going we highly and loudly recommend you not go. The Service was AWFUL!!!!!

OMG the food is great! If you don't like it, eat somewhere else it's America and so far we still have that right until the libs. change our rights to choose for fear of insulting someone by eating good catfsh. GREAT place to relax and eat and nothing fancy.
