This Mexican restaurant is my absolute favorite in town. They serve complimentary fresh chips and salsa, delicious margaritas, and generous meal portions. I appreciate their eco-friendly choice of using foil containers for carry-out orders instead of styrofoam. Despite the smoking option in the bar area being a downside for me, I still enjoy the speedy service, great food, and large margaritas at this place.

I love el Ranchero in Vicksburg, and this place is just like it - so glad I tried it, not either direction I go, I can get good Mexican!

I am from the Houston, TX area and have relatives in Natchez. It was wonderful to find El Potro in Natchez. The food and prices are great! We missed our good Mexican food when we visited Natchez. We now look forward to visiting El Potro as soon as we get to Natchez.
