I have been coming to Roux since it opened. I always get the steak and it has always been cooked on the grill and was very good. My last trip I noticed the menu had changed, the steaks were listed at "Market price" and they would be "seared to perfection at 1800 degrees". It was obvious that the steak was not cooked on the grill, it was pan seared thus lacked the great taste of a grilled steak. The market price was right at $50 which in my opinion is too much for what tasted like a piece of fried salt meat. Time to find another restaurant to spend my hard earned money.

We sat for a hour waiting on our food this is ridiculous and then send out wrong food

My wife and I drove over to Natchez for the day , from Quitman MS, on 4/29. We visited the area all day and found Roux 61 on the Internet. We were delighted to be seated quickly, waited on professionally and personally, and filled with the large portions of excellent seafood. We had raw and baked oysters (cheese and jalapeños), boiled shrimp, and gumbo. The oysters were large and fresh, the shrimp was perfect, and the gumbo was great. We took some home and I finished the gumbo last night and it was still so good. Things could've used more spicy heat but that's just a preference that was easily fixed w hot sauce. We've already recommended it and will continue to do so. Thank you so much

The food don't taste the same the fish sometimes taste like they warned it up from the day before and the food don't take good all the time.

When you post that a table of 5 7 or more must pay a tip you should post under that what you pay your servers per hour
