I've been a regular here for years, making the hour-long drive worth it every time for the consistently fresh and delicious meals. The authentic seafood here beats anything you'd find on the coast, with great service to match. The fried shrimp plate and hush puppies are a must-try, just skip the etouffee on this visit and you're in for a fantastic meal experience.

Fried shrimp/oysters good. They are always 'out of' something that I want to order. Hush puppies no better than frozen ones. Gumbo tastes like the frozen one Sam's sells. Slaw is weird tasting. You'd think that when the dirty dishes go back the kitchen and the slaw is always uneaten, they would get a clue, but, no. No change in years. Drive on to Michie, TN to Top O' the River. Hwy 57. The hushpuppies are homemade and you get free cornbread, pickled onions and traditional slaw as appetizers. Mmmm.
