I can see bumsteads has not changed at all but has just gotten worse with the service and the cooks food was burnt tasted old

oh man... bumsteads is out of this world.. It is not a place for family at all. If you are a rough neck that likes to act like a kid this is the place.. I was there seeing my band last Wednesday night and fights broke out and ambulances were called... crazy stuff.This is a rough bar!!! No place to bring a lady out on a date I can tell you that..But I liked the cheap burger basket.

As far as the place, folks you can't beat it. The service there is attentive and the food is outstanding. The full bar is something to see. Hell the whole place is something to experience!

Do yourself a favor and get over there!

I heard they are going to start having a "Bike Night" at Bumsteads! Hell yeah!

Bikini girls, tattoo's and all the goodness that's Bumsteads.

Highly recommended!

I have been there several times and thought it was going to be a great place to go with new ownership and all. But I find that it is just the opposite. The owner obviously has a major drinking problem. Each time I go in with my friends his behavior is so inappropriate I can't even explain. The food is good you do have to wait for it sometimes but it has always been good.I would suggest this place only if you want to eat in the dinning room not the bar for drinks because observing the owner be drunk and inappropriate with the customers and staff is just not eye appealing.

The walleye is excellent and the staff is very attentive. Sometimes there is a wait but the food is always worth it. I see them working hard to make improvements in the menu and the quality of the items served.

Bumsteads is my favorite place to go. I live in Springfield Mo but I always find myself in Nixa going to Bumsteads.

The service is fast and courteous and the food is simply outstanding. Full bar - fun times!

NEVER EVER EAT HERE! Waited for over an hour for our appetizer and then ANOTHER 15 minutes for our dinner. We ordered the never ending wall-eye... needless to say, we didn't even finish our plates. The fries were limp and over salted. I could understand if this was a Saturday night, but it was a Wed in the middle of February. Unbelievable. I could barely understand the waitress bc she was staring at her feet and acted like she was scared of us. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

Years ago this use to be a real good place to go. In
the last year it has changed we never know what
will be on the menu it seems to change every time
we go there. Food quality & quanity has gone down BAD.
