My wife and I visit Rusty Skillet regularly for its delicious food and friendly service. The classic diner vibes and the attentive waitstaff always make our dining experience enjoyable. Whether we order breakfast at noon or try their lunch options, the quality and quantity of the food never fail to impress.

Not sure what these people who write the bad reviews are trying to prove. Friends of the competition? Wife and I had breakfast there last week. food was fantastic. Waitress was very friendly, Very clean and colorful decor.
Portions were huge. Chicken fried steak was great and so was the biscuits and gravy.
If your a diner snob, go to New York, or where ever the hell you people go. It's a small town diner! Get it?. Wife and I have done hundreds across the country and this one is among the best.

Whoever thinks the Rusty Skillet has good food never had good food. My wife and I would rather starve han eat the slop at the skillet.

I am from Lee's Summit Mo. Definatatly a better place than these people whom are putting this place down. I had one of the best omelets and my boyfriend also. We had special requests and they did not flinch to accomodate us. The people putting this place down are in the ignoramous part of the intelligemt scale. Thumbs up Rusty Skillet!

Definily the worst food and service that I have ever experienced. When we went there the owner was there drunk and obnoxious. The food was cold, tastless and ugly. The waitrss wasnt much diferent. The place was filthy. How the health dept. lets them stay open is a wonder.Just nasty.

This place is a joke. A chainsaw wouldnt be able to cut their roast beef and the home fries are like rocks. Nothing fresh. Pre made frozen everything at high prices. Hard to get waited on and they cant even do a scrambled egg without screweing it up. Many places around close to get much better food and service. It truly sucks for decent food.

I had the best omelet ever here. Can't remember which one I picked - and really doesn't matter - because everything looked delish!

10/18/09 This place is truly amazing. I wanted everything that I saw come out of the kitchen. This is real "down home cookin" , I promise you won't we disappointed and they serve breakfast all day.
