I've been here once before but tonight 12/11 was horrible. Bread came out with the meal, service was terrible, and on top of that the whole menu had black stickers because prices change daily. Took a to go box for all my food to give to my pups 200$ later won't happen again I'll visit elsewhere.

The wife and I are just 2 of the many guests invited by my boss and friend Mark Stone each year as is his tradition to show his gratitude to his employees. We have attended these dinners many times and we have never been disappointed by either the way we are treated by the staff or quality of the food. Steak Inn has a warm and friendly atmosphere and if anyone is looking for all these attributes then they needn't look any farther than The Steak Inn.

The Steak Inn is a wonderful gem of a restaurant in a beautiful setting down at Shell knob Missouri close to table rock lake. Everything on the menu is totally delicious and very reasonably priced. The waitresses are very friendly and will do anything to help I've never heard anyone say they had a bad meal at Steak Inn in Shell Knob Missouri

As usual we had another great meal this weekend. It was a great way to end the week long stay at the lake house. The Boss Cut of your choice of steak is amazing. We share the 11 ounce Boss Cut Sirloin and of course I have to have my own salad bar! The staff is very friendly and the service can't be beat!

Never had a bad meal or bad service in the many years I've eaten there. Great value for the money. Where else can you have four martinis, two steak dinners, salad bar, and appetizer for less than 50 bucks. The Steak Inn is always the highlight of our lake trip.

My husband and I have eaten at Steak Inn since it opened in 1977. The food and service are consistently good, with very reasonable prices.

Our group of five couples ate at Steak Inn last week. When our waitress served our drinks, one couple had wine. The waitress served them two small bottles of wine, but no wine glasses. They asked for wine glasses, but she said she would take everyones' order first. The group told her to bring the wine glasses first, so she said she would be right back. About ten minutes later, she returned with the glasses, and took our orders. Then, while we were waiting in line for the salad bar, she walked up and told us that they were out of Walleye (three had ordered it), butoffered to replace it with either Halibut or Salmon. As we were in line for the salad bar, we had no menus, but two chose Halibut, and when we later got our bills the Halibut was $18.95--substantially higher than the cost of the Walleye. The Halibut was even two dollars higher than its price on the menu. When we asked the waitress about it, she said the menu price was incorrect. We live in the area and for years have patronized this place, but have decided to take our business to Bootleggers in Aurora. (Did I mention that my steak was tough?)

For 17 years that we have lived in this area we are continually amazed at the quality that Steak Inn provides. It's more costly than most restaurants in the area, but it is not expensive for the food that you get.

I don't know what planet you come from but the Steak Inn is anything but overpriced and the food was better than most of the restaurants in Sarasota FL where we live. Don't get me wrong, we have very good food down here, but I was amazed at what half the price I am used to paying can buy at the Steak Inn! I have told every one I know how good this place is!

overpriced, small 1 trip salad bar with small plates, charge extra if you want more bread.
small baked potato with entree and that's all, no veg, no nothing, service poor.
food just so-so, not at all worth the money at 1/2 the price.
