The food and service at Taster's were both good, and the prices were reasonable. Despite being busy, the wait for our food was a bit longer, but it was worth it. The portions were generous, and the milkshakes were a standout feature that I really enjoyed.

Waitress was using fowl language to off the clock employees. They had stopped by to grab a drink! Not real sanitary. Asked for a kidsmeal, only had 10 fries. Was told they had to weigh them. WHERE IS MANAGEMENT!

I haven't been to New Madrid in well over a year but I am pregnant now and I am craving Taster's foods...especially their corn nuggets...

Taster's is a pretty good hometown restaurant. They've got the best pizza in town, by far, and pretty good burgers and hot sandwiches too. The only thing I can complain about is that they always seem to be having trouble with their ice cream machine and the burgers are a little pricey for what they are--frozen preformed patties is my guess, definately not hand formed--but they're cooked when you order them, not hours before. Food's always hot and I've never had a problem with it. I just wish they'd get a little more fancy and professional around there and buy some real tables and slap on some new paint, invest in curtains, or something.
