I love everything about Merick's; the food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the staff are wonderful. It's a locally owned business that I appreciate supporting, and the menu has something great no matter what you order. Though the dining area could use some updating, the quality of the dishes, especially the catfish and chicken salad sandwich, makes it a must-visit when I'm in Sikeston.

Merick's is a fantastic local restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful staff that I enjoy supporting, offering a wide variety of great options and a convenient drive-thru for takeout orders, though the hours can be a bit unpredictable and the establishment could benefit from some updates, especially the addition of a bar.

DO NOT EAT here. The ceiling was leaking. The online menu did not mirror what they really had. They did not have a veggie burger which is why we stopped there. The fountain drink machine was broken.
