We went to Casa Maya today hoping to eat lunch. My husband has type 1 diabetes and his blood sugar was a little low when we got there. So, after waiting 20 minutes to be seated I asked if we could seat ourselves. They seemed short staffed. The worker said no.
After waiting an additional 20 minutes we were seated. When we were seated I asked if a certain food would be ready sooner than another. My husbands blood sugar monitor was beeping and he needed some food.
Twenty minutes later they had served everyone that was behind us in line. They had chips, salsa, drinks and some even had lunch. I asked the waiter if we could please get chips salsa and drinks. He never returned.
I am so so furious!!! My husband has diabetes and you seriously didn't even come to our table after I nicely asked for service multiple times!!! We left after an hour. I had to get him a candy bar to bring his blood sugar up which is just unacceptable.
I just can't believe how bad our service was.

First time customers. Staff was very friendly explained what each dish was as im not familiar with many mexican dishes. We visited about a week ago so I don't remember what we ordered. I did call restaurant after finishing meal~ this was a takeout order, had high praises for the food and service. Owner personally thanked us for coming in as we left. We will definitely be back. Actually we might get an order tonight. YUM YUM. Thank you

Best experience today after one year being in shell knob today I can honestly say things are looking and taste much better then last year love the new menu additions it's a must try.. #yum

I have had numerous occasions of bad orders I try to give this restaurant my patronage being a small town, a couple of friends had similar issues, I won't go there again
