We have always loved Briquette's since they've opened. We went to the newest location on Schillinger Rd tonight for the first time, and after about an hour wait we noticed people that had arrived after us were getting seated. So, we said something to the hostess. He said you have 4 more ahead of you, and then they sat 10 more people.Their was only 2 of us, and we had to stand, there was no place to sit & wait. My husband was very upset so we left without eating. The hostess said I can seat you now, and he told them never mind.
We've gone to Briquettes restaurant many times, and we've got to know a lot of the waitresses, and we always tip well. It's same they will lose our business, we're very disappointed.

I have eaten at your Schillinger steakhouse, numerous times and once at the Montlimar location. I always order the small ribeye and absolutely love it for its taste and tenderness. A friend and I chose to eat at Briquettes on Schillinger to celebrate our birthdays. We both love your steaks and garlic mashed potatoes, and ordered such. The service was good, as usual, but we both felt the steaks were not up to par. I have not been bothered by your seasoning and/or marinade in the past, but this day, the seasoning was so strong that I did not taste a steak, I tasted seasoning. My friend, who ordered the same dinner, felt as I did. We discovered we both had been putting potatoes on our fork before the piece of meat, in order to minimize the strong taste. I only wish I could have given this as constructive criticism, but their web page requires one to give all their personal information.
