The homemade country food here is simply outstanding, with fried chicken, greens, and mac n cheese that will leave you craving more. During my road trip from NJ to LA, I discovered this charming diner in Mobile, where the friendly staff made me feel right at home. Although I missed out on the famous pies, the chocolate slice I finally got was a heavenly experience, reminiscent of melted Hershey bars on a flaky crust, making the visit unforgettable.
