My wife and I tried out this diner for lunch today as a surprise for her, and we were both impressed by the 50s vibe and the warm welcome from the staff. The blue plate lunch options were delicious, with my wife raving about the chopped sirloin and me enjoying the roast beef, despite it being a tad dry. The sides of green beans, cornbread, mashed potatoes, and French fries were fresh and flavorful, leaving us both satisfied and eager to return to try more dishes!

08-25-23 My first time eating there today I was very impressed and well satisfied.I will be back to eat me and my bae man that food remind me of the old days when families cook straight out the garden. It was so good I almost bit my fingers the tea was just right sweet
I stay in Mississippi but this place is my new Spot âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ ya'll get 10 stars

Cornbread dressing is great!!!! So is everything else! Better to pick up than get delivery though. Atmosphere in restaurant is nice too.

The best and worst thing about The Big Time is that it is very close to my home. I really came to this site to order! The food is always delicious! Enough said, it's time to order.

This restaurant is close to my home. My wife and I love the location, but most especially, the food. We have never had less than a very good meal there, usually much better. Most of the time we order seafood plates and especially love the seafood platter.

Love me some big time diner in Mobile. Recently came back from a business trip and stopped there for breakfast on the way to the airport. Yummy
