The food is absolutely delicious, especially the Bandido Salad, 6 Layer Dip, and the White Queso Super Burrito. The drive-thru may not be perfect, but the flavorful dishes and friendly service make it worth the visit every time.

I used to work here as a teen. The place is overall ok. I say this because although I haven't worked at other fast food restaurants, I am very sure that others are at least this sloppy with cleanliness or worse. The food is mostly of good quality. There is one thing in particular I would not eat..the taco meat. It is about 50% ground beef, and 50% something they call "protein". It comes to the restaurant in bags, in pellet form. It's some type of grain like you would feed livestock. They soak it overnight in 5 gal buckets, then grind it the next day so that it's soft enough and blends seamlessly with the beef. It's food grade, I'm sure...but grosses me out. As far as the steak and chicken, they are marinated and grilled on a real grill and are very tasty. The other stuff there is good too. Only other issue I can comment on is they sometimes don't follow all food safety protocol set by law. As in, food is sometimes stored in the walk-in refrigerator without covers, some in 5 gallon buckets directly on the floor (also uncovered, most commonly uncovered, in fact). That's a big no-no, although I ate the food myself and have never heard of anyone getting sick. Another HUGE thing to me was the way they do their ice (at least at Forsythe location). The ice machine is in back, so ice is brought to the front in plastic bins, which I never remember anyone ever washing. Then the ice is dumped into the bin beneath the soda fountains. These bins didn't have drains, were never cleaned. So naturally, there is dirty ice at the bottom, to say the least. Don't eat the ice. One last thing...don't eat off the plastic trays. They are supposed to sanitize them, but they are just wiped off nightly with a (usually) dirty wet rag. Definitely take short cuts when they can with cleanliness and food safety. Oh, and in case it matters at this point, the margaritas are great.
