Visited this local joint last night and had a blast on the patio with the cozy heaters. The atmosphere was spotless, and our group of ten enjoyed the delicious food and drinks, especially my Fried Catfish Po'boy. The Shrimp & Grits and Grilled Chicken Kabobs are must-tries if you find yourself in Monroe in this plaza.

I had the pleasure of visiting this fine establishment accompanied by wife whom is with child. I opted for the catfish w/ mac and cheese and she ordered the shrimp and grits which both dishes were phenomenal in every since of the word. The waiter was quite courteous and friendly ensuring that our lunch experience would be that of a pleasant one. It is simple to write a review and share my experience, however to fully understand the essence of this place one has to go and experience it for themselves. I highly recommend going to Portico, you will be glad you did.

This by far is one of my favorite restaurants. They have the best portion sizes and the stuffed mushrooms, lasagna, and quesadillas are my favorite. I recommend this restaurant to everybody who loves a friendly atmosphere and great food where you get your money's worth.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was very impressed with the food and the service. There was such a generous serving of the food that I ordered. And the waitress was very nice and not annoying, like some other waitresses that you get. She came by to see if we needed something but we actually got to enjoy our meal. You get 4 stars from my experience.
