My family and I stopped at the crossroads motel,the Dixie Inn is just across the parking lot.The whole experience awful,the elderly lady who served us was'nice'but she left us waiting for 10 minutes while she gave somebody else their bill.When she eventually came we all ordered,we waited a further 35 minutes for some of the food,the rest came after another 5 minutes.I had the Rib eye,which was one of the worst I ever had,and expensive,all the other food was served luke warm,by this time we were fed up and complained,she took no notice of us.We paid up and left,telling her that we would not be back.We travel this route about 4 times per year,we will not eat there again.We will go to the newer restaurant at the top of the car park next time.My advice to anyone is stay away and go else where,even the bar served warm beer and could do with a good clean
