After a bad experience at Split Rock I decided to give them a second chance. They failed miserably. Chicken Fried Steak was horribly burnt and over done. Hash browns were burnt to a crisp. I am resolved to never go there again!!!

Waiter was very cordial and efficient. Temperature of restaurant was VERY COLD - 66 degrees - and made the eating experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. Requests to increase the temperature by a few degrees was met with the manager bluntly stating that the temperature was going to remain as it was set. No concern was expressed for the discomfort we experienced. Manager appeared to be annoyed rather than helpful or caring. When one of us said we live here and aren't tourists and that we may likely not return the manager's response was - "It is better if you don't come back." Therefore, customer service, care, and respect receives "NO STARS" This approach surely does not engender a feeling of being welcomed, cared for or treated with respect.
