I've enjoyed better wings, as I prefer them drier, but the fried okra was fantastic, and I'm eager to try the ribs and BBQ pork on my next visit. This local BBQ joint offers friendly service, generous portions, and incredible value, with a pulled pork sandwich and a side for just $5.50, making it a must-visit destination for great food.

We LOVE Fatman's! Great taste, good amount for the price, Super friendly! GREAT dining experience. Oh, the sauce is good too!

I will have to say as far as BBQ pork or ribs this place is the best I have been to in Montgomery. They don't cover the flavor of the meat with sauce and the prices are very reasonable. I had a large pile of rib tips, bread and beans with a iced tea for $6.99. At lunch the place is constantly serving, so I am not the only one who likes the taste. As far as comparing it to Countrys ...this beats Country's easily. the meat At FATMANS SMOKEHOUSE was tastety and tender where the pork BBQ form Countrys has always been dry for me.
i have been looking for a real smoked BBQ place that did not cost $15 for lunch and this is it!
I'm spreading the word about the good food ...if you like pretty, this is not the place, but for good home smoked BBQ its great.

I could hardly wait to eat here after reading the reviews. my husband and I went today. To all those great reviews,these people don't know what the hell good food is! I got a barbeque sandwich,the meat was like mush,the bun was all soggy and I can honestly say that is the worse barbeque if that's what you call it I could have cooked something better on the top of my stove. My husband has already said we will not be going back again! If you want real barbeque with actual chunks of meat that takes like it's beenbarbequed,you need to go to Countrys or some other place ,because it darn sure isn't this place! Unfortunately,we got it to go,otherwise I would have demanded my money back,but once we got home,I didn't feel like going back,so my dogs at least had a crappy snack!
