The authentic Chinese cuisine here transports me back in time with its classic flavors and cozy atmosphere. The lunch special is affordable and satisfying, making it a favorite of mine for years. Despite the simple decor, the food consistently impresses, and the friendly staff adds to the enjoyable experience.

Waiter/ owner has the personality of a door hinge. He exudes the feeling of not wanting you in the establishment. Unaccommodating in terms of substitution on set menu.
While you attempt to converse, he's staring at a wall. He seriously needs training or a new vocation.

Used to be our go to place. Not anymore unfortunately. Sponsor local small business.
Owner sold to current owners in 2019( approx). Portions cut by at least half.
I was surprised and mentioned it. Haven't been back

Just picked up some food, really horrible, soup tepid, beef & broccoli was slippery, chicken fried rice was
dark dark brown , overall disgusting, wont be returning there. awful

I am writing because I don't want anyone to EVER ORDER from this restaurant ever. We had to throw 80$ worth of food in the garbage ! Food was salty beyond understanding and you could not figure out what was in each container. Perhaps it had been cooked days before that was not recognizable! Please never order from them!

Was greeted well
Sesame beef was excellent and portion was huge
Sweet and sour pork was excellent
Again portion was huge
Will definitely order again.

Waited a hour for our food
Went home to eat as we can't eat there- I live 5 min away-
Soup was cold- food luke warm- missing 1 soup, egg rolls and our add on which we were charged for!
This place is terrible- the lady at front desk has no idea how to run a business

Will never order takeout from here again. Way over-priced for the amount of food you get and we had to throw out the Chicken Brocolli - the chicken tasted fishy. Like it was gone past the due date.

the restaurant was cold, food was just as cold as the outside! when you complained they nuke it - you complain its now soggy and not ediable"¦. there response is - get this - at least you can afford to eat - you should be happy for what you have!

this place has gone way down both in customer service, quality of food, and defently customer service...
bring back the old owners who know how to run a restaurant!!

For the past year my family have been going to Nouveau Maison Kam since the new owners took over but sadly everything changed two weeks ago and this past Saturday night. Two weeks ago we had to complain about the food. Firstly the tea was cold and when we told the waiter, he just sneered and touched the pot and did however bring us a new hot tea. Egg rolls were cold when they brought them back after nuking them, they were soggy. Chicken Fried Rice was cold as was the Cantonese chow mein. The older waiter walks around with a bitter look on his face,. We tried it again over the weekend and nothing has changed. The egg rolls were cold and again were sent back only to be received limp and soggy. The chicken fried rice was scant and cold. The Cantonese chow mein was cold, very starchy, tons of MSG and was lacking a lot of ingredients, such as shrimp, barbecue pork, mushrooms and cuttlefish. All three plates have been downsized. Normally we have enough to take home for another meal, this time we only had 3 general tao and 4 sweet and sour pork and two forkfulls of rice. We asked for these items to be put into separate containers and the waiter snarkily told us, no, it costs too much money. Excuse me. We paid over $55 for this disgusting food. We told the waiter that that was the last time they would see us in the restaurant and his answer was so what, don't come back. So ladies and gentlemen if you really desire lousy and cold food served by a very rude narcissistic waiter with dishes that have been reduced to small plates perfect for a child, go ahead and throw your money away. I truly think that management or the owners would be better off if they sent the waiter to the kitchen to wash dishes then to serve the public.

p.s. This is an addition to my earlier review. There were only 3 other customers eating at 7:30 pm. when it is usually packed to capacity. Gee, I wonder why. Maybe everyone else has the same take on this restaurant, just saying. Even the take out was 1/4 of what we have usually seen in the past. They should bring back their other waiter who is a delightful man, always joking, always polite and very accommodating.
