We ordered two falafel sandwiches to go( take out) and we were served by a middle Eastern looking employee. When we got home and began eating the sandwiches they tasted old and stale. We are from the Middle East and know how fresh falafel tastes. I decided to call back and complain about it. A Lebanese sounding man answered the phone ( we speak Arabic and know the distinction between accents from different regions) and denied that it was old.
Apparently some take out outlets ( mostly Owned by Lebanese) use left over falafel for take out orders only since many buyers will not complain or go back in person to exchange the food. The best solution would have been an offer to replace the food which he did not do. We decided never to go back to that location in Laval again.
