I honestly did not like my meals from here. I have visited Jamaica many times and I love their herbs and spices from curry goat/chicken, Fried plaintains, Ackee, pepper pot soup, brown stew chicken, callaloo, rice and peas, and of course Jerk pork, chicken and goat. I must say I was not happy with my purchases EVERY TIME. There was not a pinch of herbs or spices in my dishes. To be from Caribbean I just knew this would be an authentic location where I could always have a piece of Jamaica here in Iowa. I have tried 3 different dishes and was sadly disappointed to not get anything satisfying from this business. I pray it gets better. For there are other locations and Caribbean businesses around CR/IOWA CITY that I was more pleased with. How they could improve? I honestly don't know. Being that supposedly the owner is Jamaican. It felt like a slap to the Jamaican Community's face with this mockery. Use your roots in your recipes as a palladium to your culture. I do not wish to down play your business but if you going to do it, do right by your people. Make them proud. I wish you well.

Sooo good! Was able to get food from him before he closed up after a celebration at my church, so took the food home to eat. SOOO GOOD! I got Caribbean jerk chicken and rice bowls and will be looking for this place again!
