The rainbow trout at this home-style cooking restaurant was truly impressive if you enjoy fish, and the service was surprisingly good. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, but the food is delicious, the value is great, and the friendly staff make it a pleasant dining experience.

Party of two. We were seated immediately, then waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Ordered drinks, onion rings and meals right off. Got drinks in a timely manner, but then waited 40 more minutes for our meals. Never got our appetizer. Waitress never checked on us during that 40 minutes, and only checked on our order when I asked her too. Had similar experience on another recent visit, that time we simply gave up and left. Used to be our favorite—would no longer recommend.

Visited one time with my family and won't return. Drove 50 miles and was sorely disappointed.Waited more than 40 minutes for our food and it wasn't even hot when we received it. Had to go and ask if food was coming or not. Tried to be polite when I complained to the lady at cash register and all I got for a response was a sorry. No offer of a discount or anything. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

You need to rinse the preserved off your salad. I could smell and taste it. Other than that food was delicious.

Great food at a very reasonable price! So nice to enjoy a meal at a restaurant that is not a chain! Make sure you try the onion rings-they're awesome!

The food was ok and there weren't many people there, but we still had to wait to be seated and the service was very poor. It took forever and the waitress, Marilyn Steckelburg, got one order wrong and forgot another's drink completely. We had to wait to ask for take home boxes and were not happy with the way we were treated.

Eat here often and the food is always good but once in awhile the service is poor. Some waitresses bring the food and check at the same time and never see them again, Gina is great at that. The bill never includes tax so don't know full price of the meal until the hostess rings you out.

Good food, excellent prices. Don't be afraid to stand in line for a table, it moves quickly and the onion rings are worth the wait.
