My niece took me there for my birthday. I had heard good things about it. Didn't realize at lunch we wouldn't be seated in main dining room. Food and service were terrible. Total waste of money and it wasn't cheap.

Where is the ZERO STAR???? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (not by host or service staff, both were extremely friendly)!!!! What a joke! We are new to the area & were craving Gumbo. We have not acclimated to the weather yet, so my husband was wearing a sleeveless shirt (not a raggedy tank), shorts & a belt. At 4pm on a very obviously slow Tuesday, after being greeted, seated (back corner of restaurant) & having our drink order taken, the light haired chef or manager (whatever he was) came over to our table & asked us to leave, stating to my husband that sleeveless shirts are not allowed. There were NO other tables sat on this side of the restaurant - only a handful of people at the bartop. There were a few hightops sat on the other side, completely out of view. We were not even offered to sit on the patio. CLEARLY HE DID NOT NEED OUR BUSINESS!!! CLEARLY HIS HOST & SERVICE STAFF HAVE NOT BEEN PROPERLY TRAINED!!! MAYBE THE FOCUS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRAINING INSTEAD OF EMBARRASSING YOUR POTENTIAL CLIENTELE!!! I have a hard time believing that a single person noticed or would have even cared. IT BLOWS MY MIND 🤯 THAT ANY RESTAURANT (especially a $$ restaurant) WOULD CHOOSE TO EMBARASS POTENTIAL BUSINESS IN A NEAR EMPTY RESTAURANT OVER SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!! DONT WORRY, WE WILL NOT BE BACK & WE WILL NOT REFER ANYONE (OBVIOUSLY WHAT HE WANTED)! EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I only hope that every shift he works from this point forward has very low sales!
