The restaurant has undergone a transformation since my last visit, and the changes are remarkable. The interior has been tastefully refreshed, creating a cozy dining space with around 13 tables. Despite the small size, the place fills up quickly, a testament to the exceptional food they offer. The Kung Pao chicken and other dishes I tried were delicious, setting a new standard for flavor and quality in my book.

Very sorry to see that Sam had to close the doors, we lived in White Bear and only went to King City when we wanted Chinese food. We still visited even though we're in Stillwater now. Sam and his brother are great guys and will miss their smiles.

My family and now my kids' families have been eating at King's City for over 30 years. Everything is made fresh. The best chicken wings anywhere. There is nothing on their menu that isn't great. Service is terrific. Sam and Cammie are personable and focused on providing the best food and friendly dining experience possible. Patrons here quickly become friends - it's that kind of place. Reasonable prices for substantial portions. I wouldn't think of having Chinese anywhere else.

I eat here 5 days a week! The ONLY chinese restaurant I will go to! The chicken wings are to die for and their chicken lomein is so amazing!!! Also their cream cheese wontons are the best on this planet. Won't order those ANYWHERE else.

I’ve been coming here for over 25 years. I don’t live nearby anymore, but I still crave it. When I visit WBL, I love to stop in for the best takeout around. Their pork fried rice, cream cheese wontons, and chicken wings are amazing! Sam is a friendly, kindhearted owner and is always attentive. When it had been several years since my last visit, he still remembered me. This is a gem in White Bear.
