Tried this restaurant a few times, each time food is made differently for the same menu item with people in my group and myself, no consistency. Last and final time eating there was today, waitress let us know about $8.99 lunch specials with a drink which we ordered in the past and also locals discount. When we ordered we got a different waitress. When we received our dishes again no consistency. When received the bill it was full price and there was no local discount. I asked the waitress and she said the manager was not there so they could not give any discounts. We will never eat at a dishonest restaurant.

We tried Adela's on Mothers Day this year. They were newly open. We tried the "birria" tacos and they did not disappoint. Because it was Mothers Day the women received a piece of cheese cake free.
I took three more friends there in early September. All oh the food was wonderful! A burrito, a quesadilla, enchiladas, and the "birrio" tacos were tried. You will not go wrong with Adela's.

Food is very good but have major complaint about portion sizes and price. The guacamole salad is $5.99 and the portion very small, barely a tablespoon. the pico de gallo was $1.50 for less than 2 ounces. Will certainly go somewhere else to get more generous portions for comparable prices.
