My first meal ever at a Ruth's Chris Steak House (Myrtle Beach) was not a very memorable one. Spent almost $200 on average steaks. Service was excellent with very helpful and attentive servers, the steaks, not so excellent. My wife received a ribeye steak medium well with a lobster tail, but she had ordered a petite filet. I got a petite filet medium rare correctly. In order to help the situation I said I would take the ribeye and have my petite filet cooked a bit longer for my wife. Big mistake. Neither steak turned out to taste like we thought they would no matter how they were cooked. Lobster tails were good, bread was good, salads were OK. We were very disappointed that our steaks were not even close to the quality we expected and certainly not worth the price. That was a surprise to us based on Ruth's Chris' reputation.
