I went there once and the food was great - buffet style, so you serve yourself, but the staff is really friendly. The southern buffet had a good selection of vegetables and it was one of the few places open on a Monday. The strawberry cake was a tasty treat too.

At one time Big E was the best hidden in NMB.
Since Miss Betty's stroke and selling of the restaurant, it's gone down hill. They really priced themselves out of the market for what you got on the buffet. Simply not worth catering to.

Went there on a Friday night. The portions were very small with a larger price. Fish and oysters were greasy. I would not recommend this restaurant. The baked potatoes and slaw was good but that's about all.

If you haven't tried the Sunday buffet its time to give it a try. Truly southern cooking at its best. very reasonable price also. Only drawback is you cant eat there everyday...YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT.!!!

Concerning the B.E restaurant I am so glad to hear and know that were read of the B.E he was no more a chef than I am I thought the food was disgusting the restaurant went bankrupt twice in less than two years that there a long should speak for itself and the BIG E. and I wouldn't call that a award-winning chef.

This is a local country cooking/seafood establishment that I really enjoy going to on Sundays. I love country cooking and the only thing I have ever eaten is good ole southern style cooking. It can't be beat. The total costs of a meal (buffet style) is $8.00 with the beverage and the staff is so friendly. I can suggest getting there around noon on Sunday for fresh delicious lunches. You won't be sorry.

OMG this is one of these best resturants we have ever eaten at. Every yearon our vacation to Myrtle Beach we always make sure to enjoy their food at least 2-3 times wheile there. The fried catfish is to die fore and they have the best hushpuppies we've ever had. This is not a fancy place, but its clean and the service is always with a smile. We cant wait four visit to Myrtle Beach to enjoy this wonderful, down home food ! YUMM !!!!!
