I have read mixed reviews about this plaCe and have to say not sure what happened to the people who left bad reviews most have been an off day, I used to live in Myrtle and we made our way there at least onCe a week for the esCargot, and best German potato salad, sweet and sour Cabbage I ever had. I don't have enough good things to say. Not muCh on ambianCe but the food is out of this world and would refer any friend there as a must stop while there. I would almost kill to eat there again. The owner is also extremely niCe. The escargot is awesome it is fixed in a red wine mushroom sauce to die for we used to dip bread in the remaining sauce. So if your looking for a great place to eat German food stop by and give it a try.

Was very wel pleased with the food and waitress. We thought we got a lot of food for the money. The last review must have been written by a snob who wanted a buffet and not a meal

We had the misfortune of experiencing Bodo's. My Husband is from Germany and I had read good reviews on this restaurant, so we decided to take our two teenagers and go for dinner.
The look of the place was, well...ugly, but we didn't really care about that. The bathroom was rancid. The food was even worse. It is an insult to german people. UNBELIEVABLY bad and way over priced. To be honest, if I weren't so hungry, I wouldn't have eaten it. The portions were ridiculously small. What a joke. Do yourself a favor, stay away from Bodo's...if you don't, then don't say I didn't warn you.
