In November 2014, my father and I decided to try out this restaurant as our original choice was too crowded. My father had been here before and spoke highly of it, so I trusted his recommendation. The service was warm and attentive, and the meal, from the mussels to the dessert, was exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the overall experience, and I look forward to returning soon.

I'm a fairly regular customer - especially of the Sunday Buffet Brunch, so when friends suggested this destination for our annual birthday celebration get-together, I looked forward to it. Days before, I clicked on the website & actually made my dinner choice then so I did not even open the menu Sat. night. Under certain entrees,the web states, "All entrees served with baby wedge salad, fresh baked bread." My choice was one of these entrees - Seafood Mac & Cheese. When I was served the dish without salad & bread, I inquired & was told I could have it at an additional charge. Obviously, the website needs updating!! In the scope of things, this may be considered trivial & it very well may have been except NO bread of any sort was brought to the table. Others in my group ordered prime rib, beef wellington, lamb, & plenty of drinks - we weren't pizza eaters for the evening. I don't believe a bread basket would have bankrupted this restaurant & yet, it would have been a nice addition for each of our dishes. An aside on my Seafood Mac & Cheese - it contained 2 scallops, 3 shrimp, & 1 small tentacle of lobster.....a bit sparse on the seafood but a very ample mound of pasta.
Our evening was pleasant though. Our waitress was attentive & professional, and although this will not deter my returning to Speakers Corner, this experience irritated me as a customer..

speakers corner has the best food,drinks,and the waitress staff is unbeleivable..especially tonya..best waitress in town!!! by far!!!

I was extremely happy with the service I received at Speakers Corner. Everyone was very friendly.The quality and the presentation of the food is phenomenal! I will definitely return soon to enjoy the live entertainment out on the deck this summer!

Is it me or has Service has gone done hill over the past year.......extremely disappointed upon arrival. My wife and I were seated by a rude hostess or supervisor....seemed as though we had interupted the staffs social time...not very personable.....The staff not professional in attutude or attire seems unacceptable for the price of the menu items....especially on a Sunday Brunch,which seems overpriced for green eggs and cold bacon, eggs benedict looked as if it had been there all morning,however the carving station and fruit selection are good....

Last evening I had the pleasure of dining at the Speaker's Corner Restaurant on the outside deck. We had a great time with some old friends. The menu was great and beautifully presented. I ordered the chicken roll, which consisted of a boneless breast of chicken stuffed with Proscuitto, Red Peppers, Asparagus, Spinach and Cheese, it had a pesto sauce which was delicious. My husband had the Lobster Cobb Salad which was amazing with huge chunks of lobster served with the traditional cob salad fixings. The portions were plentiful but we still saved room for dessert. Many different selections to choose from, I tried the seasonal creme brule which was flavored with Chambord, which was outstanding. We also ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake to share with our guests which was served warm with vanilla ice cream this was amazing!
I would highly recommend "Speakers Corner Restaurant" and plan to come back very soon with a group of friends. Our server told us that on Friday and Saturday evenings they have entertainment on the deck and on Thursday evenings a Prime Rib Buffet with live Jazz.

Our trip to Speaker's was totally wonderful! The food was excellent, atomsphere was very quaint and the service was great. There were also dozens of wonderfully interesting cocktails to pick from. I can't say enough good things!
