What can I say..........give me a sec my mouth is full. Good lord the first bite tells you its FAMILY OWNED. These people care about thier customers and treat them like family. We walked in to a smile a mile wide from the hostess Aynia who sat us right away. Then the fun started....our server Eddie was amazing...bestowing southern charm and local knowledge on us. He gave recommendations that were spot on. Everything is so delicious. Its not often you can rave about the side baked potatoe just as much as the entree. But damm it was good. Portions are more than generous so come hungry. If you like sweet tea the right way, hold on, your first sip is gonna wake you up. We had fried green tomatoes, gator bites, onion rings, fried pickles, cat fish, cheese curds, steak and mushrooms. We recommend everyone of them. Caney Fork you have recieved my best review to date. If you want southern hospitality and food then skip the mess down on broadway and stop in for a warm welcome and a satisfing meal. Thank you for the memory.

Food was awful. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was so gross I didn't eat it. My coleslaw looked three weeks old and I took one bite and didn't eat that either. I didn't complain but the waitress saw and went to get who I assume was the manager, she didn't introduce herself. I was offered something else but declined. Why would I want more disgusting food? My husband did not like his bison burger which was super salty and ended up throwing up his entire meal in the parking lot. Only thing I ate was fried pickles but left feeling like nauseous as well. Would not recommend. I didn't complain because it's not the waitresses fault but she made it awkward by going to get who I assume was a manager that I didn't ask for. I don't expect a handout but don't offer me a replacement meal when I didn't like the first one. If it were my restaurant I would have offered to comp it, they didn't and that's fine. We paid for a meal that wasn't eaten and one that didn't stay down.
Response to owners comments: We are a family business and we are happy to make any meal better but we cannot afford to give people back their money after they eat the majority of the meal they are now complaining about. MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ MY POST....I DIDN'T EAT IT... IT WAS SO GROSS I ONLY TOOK ONE BITE AND LEFT THE ENTIRE MEAL ON THE TABLE MINUS SOME OF THE SUBPAR MASHED POTATOES. I'm not someone looking for a freebie and I honestly was going to walk away without saying anything but your waitress sent over the "manager" without me asking for one. Now that I think about it, that says a lot... She knew the food wasn't good... So you got your money don't worry... But I have told everyone I've came across in Nashville to avoid your restaurant... So you a least lost one of two families because of us. They'd rather not be getting sick in the parking lot like my husband or paying for a meal they didn't eat like myself. PAY ATTENTION NEXT TIME.
